SEASONAL ACTIVITIES - SPRING
Indulge in a little boot scootin' at the Cowboy Ball, Banquet and Auction every March at the KwaTaqNuk Resort. Then, grab your fishing pole and hit the lake to reel-in the "big one", as residents fish to help deplete the lake of an abundance of mackinaw fish and compete for awards, during the annual Mack Days festival. And during the Flathead Cherry Fest in April, people gather to enjoy food, arts and crafts, a bake sale, entertainment, raffles, and free door prizes in honor of locally grown cherries.(back to top)
SEASONAL ACTIVITIES - SUMMER
Kick off the summer months in the Flathead Valley at the end of May with the Freedom Day Celebration, featuring a parade in honor of our nation's soldiers and veterans, a stuffing fireworks display, food vendors, and more. Every June, visit the yearly Polson Main Street Festival with two full days of food, shopping, art displays, and a variety of regional interests.The Polson Mission Mountain PRCA Rodeo at the Polson Fairgrounds in July features fun for the whole family, such as mini bull riding, rodeo clown shows, and games. Then, set your sights high in August for the Annual Fly in Air Show & Display, beginning with a pancake breakfast. Spectators can view an assortment of homebuilt, vintage, war and general aviation aircraft displays and participate in various day activities and a wine and art auction.

SEASONAL ACTIVITIES - FALL
The crisp fall weather brings a unique treat to the Flathead Valley, the Annual Pitchfork Fondue event, a showcase of cowboy cooking techniques and fresh, delicious fare. Attendees come hungry to dig into succulent sirloin steak, cooked to sizzling perfection on pitchfork tines in a cauldron of bubbling oil, and sample various fondue sauces with their steak.This cowboy chowtime experience is rounded out with a variety of homemade salads, hot kettle potato chips, and desserts. Additionally, The Polson Parade of Light in November has dazzled Polson's families with a spectacular evening electric light displays for many years. If you have kids, this event is a must-see!

SEASONAL ACTIVITIES - WINTER
In December, the Sandpiper Art Gallery hosts its annual Downtown Art Walk, with an open house and art demonstrations. And on January 1st, if you're feeling brave, celebrate the New Year at the annual Polar Bear Plunge at Riverside Park with other area residents as they submerse themselves in the brisk waters of Flathead Lake.(back to top)
